This kit includes a RED DIGITAL CINEMA RED BRICK CHARGER and two RED DIGITAL CINEMA RED BRICK batteries. The charger also incorporates a power output, allowing you to power a DSMC or DSMC2 camera via an optional cable. The charger features an integrated grip for carrying and feet to help it stand upright when charging a single battery.

The batteries support up to a 10A draw each and offer a 5-LED power gauge easily visible on the side. The batteries follow the DSMC information protocol and thus the battery’s info displays in the viewfinder of both DSMC and DSMC2 cameras. Each battery is fitted with a V-mount.

RED DIGITAL CINEMA RED BRICK CHARGER

The RED DIGITAL CINEMA RED BRICK CHARGER enables charging two RED BRICK batteries (not included) simultaneously. It plugs into any standard AC power outlet. This charger can also be used to power any DSMC or DSMC2 camera using an optional 2B to 1B power cable (not included). For those with a RED ONE camera, an optional RED ONE POWER CABLE allows you to use this charger as a power supply for your camera.

RED DIGITAL CINEMA RED BRICK Battery

This RED Digital Cinema RED BRICK battery has a capacity of 153Wh and can power a RED camera while displaying the full amount of available info in the viewfinder of both DSMC and DSMC2 cameras. It incorporates a push-button activated 5-LED power gauge that indicates roughly the amount of power remaining in the battery. It uses a V-mount battery mount, making it compatible with equipment that uses a V-mount battery system and select DSMC modules. To use the RED BRICK battery on your RED camera, the camera must have a V-mount, or use a V-mount expander module.

The RED BRICK battery can be charged up to 80% in 95 minutes, achieving a full charge in 190 minutes.
Please note that the manufacturer states that the RED BRICK battery requires a RED BRICK Charger to charge.
