Description
Sirui W2004K20 Ocean Runner Tripod Kit
The Sirui W-2004K20 Ocean Runner Tripod Kit has a waterproof sealed-leg design that allows you to submerge the legs in water without causing damage. Furthermore, the already versatile tripod can have one of its legs removed, which then converts into a waterproof monopod. The included ball head is CNC machined from aluminum alloy and is Arca-Type compatible. This kit makes an ideal tool for photographers that shoot constantly in the outdoor elements.
Sirui K-20x Ball Head
The Sirui K-20x Ball Head is an extremely sturdy head with control knobs for pan, tilt, and tension, plus an Arca-type clamp for the included quick release plate. The pan, tilt, and quick release knobs are all separate, while the tension knob is integrated into the ball-locking (tilt) knob. The head tilts 90? for portrait orientation.
The interior ball locking of the K-20x head has a sphere tolerance of 0.01mm, and it’s equipped with an orientation-memory locking dial. This helps yield a high load capacity of 55 lb. The quick release clamp features a secondary release button that prevents any inadvertent disengagement of the camera/plate from the clamp, thereby adding to the head’s overall security & stability. The Arca-type platform conforms to standard sizes, so you can use compatible plates from other manufacturers.
The three control knobs allow a photographer to exercise extremely fine control over the orientation of the camera, whether it’s a DSLR, 35mm, medium-format camera, or even a camcorder. Pan, for instance, can be adjusted while the tilt stays locked, enabling precise movement that’s measurable ? there are degree markers at the panning base for panoramic photography.
The K-20x is CNC-machined from an aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and anodized with an oxidation treatment that ensures a durable, high-quality finish.
Sirui W-2004 Waterproof Aluminum Alloy Tripod
The W-2004 Waterproof Aluminum Alloy Tripod from Sirui features a Waterproof Sealing System that prevents water, dust, or other particles from entering the leg tubes. The tripod extends to a maximum height of 70.9″, holds up to 39.7 lb, and weighs 4.6 lb. Reverse-folding legs wrap around most ball heads allowing the tripod to fold down to 20.5″.
The 4-section legs are individually adjustable and are held in place with twist locks. One of the legs is removable and can be attached to the center column to make a full-sized 69.7″ monopod. The removable rubber feet can be replaced by stainless-steel spikes, affording the tripod stability on a variety of surfaces. The split center column allows the tripod to reach its minimum height of 6.1″, and a ballast hook on the center column can hold a stabilizing weight.
